2. Information We Collect

Audio & Sheet Music

A. Audio Recordings and Files

When you upload an audio file or record audio through your device microphone, the audio file is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) to our secure processing servers to perform AI stem separation and transcription into guitar tablature (PDF and MIDI).

• 90-Day Retention: Uploaded audio files are automatically and permanently deleted from our Google Cloud Storage buckets after 90 days.
• Generated Tablature: Generated PDF guitar tabs and MIDI playback files remain accessible in your account until you delete them.

Account & Authentication

B. Account Information

When you register or sign in via Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or Guest Mode, we collect:

• Your unique user identifier (Firebase UID).
• Your display name and email address (if provided by the authentication provider).
• Account creation and last login timestamps.

Analytics & Advertising

C. Automatically Collected Technical Data

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): If using the free tier, AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as IDFA or Google Advertising ID), coarse location, and diagnostic information to serve advertisements.
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): Used to gather user consent for personalized advertising in compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA.
• Google Firebase: Used for authentication, Firestore database synchronization, and crash reporting.
• Store Purchases: All subscription payments are processed directly by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Cloud Spirit Ltd does not collect or store credit card or billing details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for:

• Transcribing audio files into playable guitar tabs and sheet music.
• Synchronizing your conversion history across your authenticated devices.
• Delivering and managing premium subscriptions.
• Displaying ads to free-tier users.
• Maintaining security, preventing fraud, and complying with legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data is shared only with trusted infrastructure providers necessary for app functionality:

• Google Cloud Platform (europe-west2, London, UK): Cloud storage and AI computation pipeline.
• Google Firebase & AdMob: Authentication, cloud database, and advertising.
• Apple & Google: In-app purchase verification and transaction management.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & UK GDPR)

Under GDPR and UK data protection regulations, you have the right to:

• Access & Export: Request copies of your personal data.
• Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can delete your account and all associated conversion history instantly at any time via the in-app "Delete Account" button in the Settings screen.
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.

6. Children's Privacy

Guitar Sheet AI is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
